Professional Newborn Photographer in Cheshire

My specialty is Newborn photography but I also provide services for families with children of all ages and Maternity portraiture.

Baby photography, sitter sessions, first birthday photoshoots, family portraiture, lifestyle shoots in your own home or formal portraits in my studio.

My studio is located in Sandbach, Cheshire but I can cover all local areas – Sandbach, Middlewich, Holmes Chapel, Northwich, Nantwich, Crewe, Knutsford, Wilmslow, Congleton, Alsager, Stoke on Trent, Manchester, Liverpool and all surrounding areas of Cheshire, Staffordshire and beyond.

What’s your favourite flower for newborn shoots?

Lindsey wanted sunflowers for baby Petra’s newborn shoot because she had them for her wedding so they held a special place in her heart.

Sunflowers symbolise a long life and lasting happiness. I hope this comes true for little Petra! Such a beautiful baby and so peaceful in her box full of sunflowers even though dad says they’re going to tell her this is how she arrived, delivered by the Amazon man. Hahaha.

These guys have got a secret to share... not just one baby on the way but TWINS!

Oh my goodness I'm so excited!

Who recognises little Baya? She's the famous baby on my website that attracts so much attention with her beautiful blue eyes surrounded by the pink tulle. She's growing up to be a beautiful young lady now! It's such an honour to watch my babies and families grow.

She had a slightly troublesome start to life but is such a strong, determined little girl with one of the loudest cries I've ever heard! Mum and Dad said she's just showing off how strong her lungs are and we couldn't be happier to hear it! 🤍🤍

Bea was fabulous for her newborn session today and I love the colour choices these guys wanted with pinks and greens galore.

Isn’t newborn photography just cuddling babies?

Answer is… nope! There’s a lot of cuddling babies but there’s also an hour of setup at least before your shoot, then your shoot is 2-3 hours long where I’ll be changing setups, helping settle baby and posing them safely and comfortably. Then the real work really starts! Editing a newborn session can take a good 5+ hours to get those babies looking perfect!

But cuddling babies is the best bit…

It's all in the details... Baby Thea came in for her mini newborn session this morning and at the end of the session I whipped a white backdrop on and we went to town snapping some macro shots while she wriggled about perfectly content.

There's nothing more beautiful than these tiny toes and fingers, even down to the hairs on baby's ears... stunning! And these moments are so fleeting... we have to capture them quickly before it's too late and baby gets too big!

Thanks Mum for bringing Thea in this morning! I'm so grateful for the chance to get these shots for you.
