When should I book my Maternity Session:

Most customers book their session after their 12 week or 20 week scan to ensure I have availability. My calendar fills up quickly, especially at weekends so it’s good to get in early! I like to photograph bumps when you’re about 32+ weeks pregnant to ensure they are nice and round! I just take a £100 deposit to book and this comes off your package price.

How long will my Maternity Session take?

If you’ve decided to go for my Heirloom Maternity Session, it will usually take between 1-2 hours because we will include several outfit changes, nude images (if you like!) and photos with your partner and any other children. We can be as creative as you like in this time so may run over!

If you are looking for a shorter shoot and are happy to prioritise specific images or setups instead of going for the ‘complete experience’ then check out my Signature Newborn Session as this is a more focussed shoot which takes 1 hour maximum.

Important Information

Pricing

When you invest in a maternity session with me, it’s more than just a photoshoot. It’s a bespoke experience from beginning to end and I will guide you through the whole process. I take a £100 deposit to secure your session date and this comes off your package price.

I offer two different sessions: Heirloom or Signature – both of these packages will allow plenty of time with me in my studio to create a fantastic gallery of images and both of these sessions include a selection of digital images in with the price. I know how important it is for you to really ‘own’ your images and that is why I like to include digitals alongside the session.

Whichever package you choose, you’ll receive £50 off your newborn session with me too.

When you arrive at my studio you’ll also see the fantastic collection of frames, wall art and albums that are hand-made in the UK by my professional supplier.  Together we will create a stunning collection of images,  presented in the best possible way for your family and home.

Heirloom Maternity Session – £650

The Heirloom Package is a bespoke experience to celebrate this special chapter of your life. Perfect for capturing the beauty, connection, and excitement of your growing family.

It’s a relaxed, 1-2 hour studio session and allows for total creativity as well as some essential photos with your partner and family. You’ll have full use of my maternity wardrobe and I’m more than happy to offer undressed images too or even just a little loose fabric. You’ll feel like a total goddess by the end of this session.

The Heirloom Maternity Session is a complete experience, giving you a stunning collection of images to celebrate this fleeting, magical time. – it includes 12 high-resolution digital images to keep and share, chosen from a gallery of 35+ images.

Signature Maternity Session – £350

My Signature Package is a shorter, focused session designed to capture the beauty of your pregnancy in a simple yet meaningful way.

It’s up to 1 hour in my studio and will prioritise the shots you really want – it’s a quick yet creative session tailored to your needs. You’re still welcome to borrow a gown from my wardrobe just like the Heirloom Session and we can do some nude shots too, it will just lead to a slightly smaller selection of images to choose from – small but perfectly formed!

The Signature Maternity Session is perfect for families who want a more streamlined experience while still celebrating this special time with beautiful, artful images. – it includes 5 high-resolution digital images to keep and share, chosen from a gallery of 15+ beautiful photos.

What happens after my shoot?

After your shoot I’ll often edit a sneak peek so you can share it early with your friends and family and get excited to see the whole gallery! This is usually on the same day as your shoot.

Once I’ve finished editing your images, I love to invite you to return to my studio so I can present your gallery in a stunning showcase slideshow. This is the time where we will choose which images you’d like to have as part of your package and it’s also a great opportunity to chat about wall art, albums and framing. I have some stunning examples from the best professional print supplier in the UK and I’d be happy to arrange printing your images for you.

It’s best to have a look around your home in advance and think about how you’d like to display your images whether it’s in an album to be shared and passed down; wall art and frames to decorate your home; or just digital images to share and print yourself. I’ll help you create a bespoke collection of products that feels perfect for your family.

 

Frequently Asked Questions – Maternity

I have a stunning selection of designer maternity gowns to fit sizes 8-18. These range from full coverage gowns with added floaty fabric to completely see-through gowns or even just a piece of sheer fabric to showcase your beautiful bump and new, curvaceous figure at its very best.

Please try to wear neutral coloured underwear and preferably a strapless bra. I also recommend wearing something you feel really comfortable in because we will get a couple of more informal shots to get warmed up and a casual dress or jeans is nice for these photographs.

Don’t worry about feeling self conscious or that your body has changed from your pre-pregnancy life.  This is completely normal and with professional lighting, props and subtle editing, you will look and feel like a beautiful, blooming mama-to-be!
