“Where there is great love, there are always miracles”
Baby Dominic’s Mum – Carly, from Nantwich, got in touch right back in the new year as she’d seen the photos I’d been taking of babies and was keen to book her newborn shoot with Little Primrose Photography early. Dominic kept us waiting at the end of her pregnancy and just like everyone else, I was so excited when the message finally came through to say he’d arrived!
It was a pleasure to finally meet Dominic and his parents. His session went really well and as usual, Dominic was a big fan of his milk and we had frequent breaks for snacks and drinks throughout. Dominic was wide awake for the first part of his shoot – he wanted to watch everything that was going on and his big eyes look absolutely amazing on the photos! We just carried on and I popped Dominic into a couple of different props and poses and captured those beautiful eyes and inquisitive stares before he finally dropped off to sleep on the beanbag.
We chose a gorgeous brown colour scheme – my favourite! Most of my props are handmade and his little pants and hat set were no exception. These were made specially for his shoot to match his ‘ginger biscuit’ colour scheme. Dominic absolutely loved my little wooden bed at the end – it’s definitely the baby favourite! They adore being all snuggled in the covers.
If you’d like to book your newborn shoot, the best time to book is straight after your 20 week scan. I will put your due date in my diary then when baby is born we can book your session in within those first 4 weeks while they are still sleepy and content. I limit how many newborns I book in per month so that I can be completely flexible for my mummies and it also means I can usually accommodate late bookings. So if your baby has already been born but you’d like a shoot, please get in touch.
