Maternity Portraits
Award-winning maternity photographer based in Sandbach, Cheshire, North West UK.

Pregnancy is one of the most fleeting, extraordinary things your body will ever do. And most women spend it feeling exhausted, enormous and nothing like themselves. I know. I’ve been there… Twice!
What I also know, after ten years of photographing pregnant women, is that with the right light, the right gown and someone who genuinely knows what they’re doing behind the camera, you will look absolutely stunning. Every single time. That’s not a sales pitch. It’s just what happens.
I’m a studio photographer, which means I control everything. The light is always flattering. The gowns are designer. The posing is guided and considered. You don’t need to know how to pose, feel confident in front of a camera or even particularly want your photo taken. You just need to show up.
I’ve been named Maternity and Newborn Photographer of the Year by the Guild of Photographers and I hold a Master Craftsman qualification. You’re in safe hands.
Sessions start from £350, and both include £50 off your newborn session with me.
I would be honoured to capture this special time for you.
Let’s create something beautiful together.
“Lisa has made my pregnancy journey all the more memorable with her amazing work. I’m over the moon with her work and can’t thank you enough! xx”
“We were so happy with the all the pictures, and Lisa really made us feel at ease so soon after having our baby. Loved the outdoor setting for the maternity shoot, and the dresses provided were perfect!”
“An incredible morning was spent with Lisa. She spent time getting to know me and understand my journey which shows how comfortable I felt as the photos were incredible and showed how I felt in the moment.”

Frequently Asked Questions – Maternity
When should I book my Maternity Session?
After your 12 or 20-week scan is ideal, as weekends fill up quickly. I like to photograph bumps from around 32 weeks so they're beautifully round. A £100 deposit holds your date.
How long will my Maternity Session take?
The Heirloom session runs up two hours. The Signature is up to an hour. Both are completely relaxed and we won't rush.
What will I wear?
I have a stunning collection of designer maternity gowns in sizes 8 to 18. Full coverage, floaty, sheer, draped fabric, whatever suits you. You're welcome to bring your own outfits too for a more casual feel at the start of the session.
What do I need to bring?
Neutral underwear and a strapless bra if you have one. Something comfortable and casual for the warm-up shots. And honestly, just yourself.
I don’t want to have photographs taken because I don’t feel like myself – what can you do?
It's incredibly common and I hear it almost every session. Professional lighting, considered posing and gentle editing do a lot of work, but mostly what happens is that women see themselves differently when they're photographed with real care. You will be amazed at what we create together.
