Hi! I’m Lisa, self-confessed perfectionist and prop addict. I’ve spent ten years crafting fine art newborn portraits and every session is built from scratch. The colours, the textures, the handmade outfits, the wool wraps and wooden props and the flowers, all mine, all chosen with your images in mind before you even walk through the door. My work has a look you can spot at a glance. Bold but warm. Rich but timeless. Almost as perfect as your baby.

I have a wonderfully cosy studio in Sandbach and I welcome families from across the north west region from Knutsford and Wilmslow to Nantwich, Crewe, Northwich and beyond. Whether you’re local or willing to travel, my studio becomes your calm, creative space for the morning. It’s a place I’ve built entirely around making beautiful images.
What to expect:
My work goes beyond the norm – I’m a Master Craftsman in newborn photography and won International Newborn Photographer of the Year with the Guild of Photographers. But most importantly – I’ve been called a baby whisperer more times than I can count! Your baby’s comfort and safety are paramount and I follow their lead entirely. I never rush and I only ever book one family per day regardless of which session type you choose.
I’m passionate about creating something no one has ever seen before, and I can’t wait to tell your family’s story through my art.

Calm, cosy and beautifully simple
A brief, 45-minute session built around a snugly wrapped baby. Warm, settled and still. I put just as much creative thought into this as any other session, you just get a focused slice of it.

Signature Newborn Session — £400
Focused and artistically crafted
Up to an hour and a half together, with a creative plan we’ve built around you and your family. Before your session we’ll talk through what matters most and I’ll make sure we get it.

- Priority setups agreed in advance
- Choose from wrapped, posed or family or a short combination of two

An unhurried morning creating the one-of-a-kind portraits I’m known for. Every setup is uniquely yours and creatively ambitious. Real family moments, multiple visions, no rushing. A gallery that will take your breath away.

What happens after your session
Same day, I’ll send a sneak peek. Just a couple of images to share with the people who are desperate to see the baby.
Once editing is done, you’ll come back to the studio for your gallery viewing. I present everything as a slideshow, and we go through it together, choosing your favourites and talking through how you’d like to display them. Albums, wall art, framing. I’ll help you figure out what’s right for your home.
Frequently Asked Questions – Newborn
When should I book my Newborn Session?
Most families book their newborn session during pregnancy, usually after their 20 week scan. A £100 deposit secures your place and is deducted from your session fee.
I also understand that babies rarely arrive to plan. For this reason, I limit the number of newborn sessions I take each month, which often allows me to accommodate last minute enquiries. If your baby has already arrived or plans have changed, please do get in touch and I’ll always do my best to help.
What if my baby has already been born?
That's absolutely fine! If they're still within the 6 weeks mark we are all good, otherwise look at my Older Baby Sessions or even Milestone Sessions if the time has really flown!
How long will my Newborn Session take?
Heirloom up to 3 hours. Signature up to 1.5 hours. Little Bundle 45 minutes. Always baby-led. No rushing.
What if my baby won’t settle?
Awake and nosy babies make gorgeous images too, honestly. If they're truly unsettled, we reschedule. In ten years it's barely ever happened.
What poses and props should we expect?
Everything in my studio is yours to use. Handmade outfits, fine wool wraps, cotton, real flowers, natural wooden props. I collect obsessively and it shows. Nothing in your session will look like anyone else's.
What will my baby wear?
I'll put together a palette before you arrive. We'll start snuggled and wrapped and work from there. Naked portraits are an option too if you'd like them.
What should I wear?
The studio is warm so dress comfortably. For Heirloom sessions or Signature sessions which include parent portraits, think neutral and timeless but don't be afraid to show personality! I'll send a full guide before your session.
I have an item or outfit with sentimental value, will you be able to use it?
Please do. Heirloom blankets, hand-knitted pieces, something with meaning. These are the things that make a session truly yours. I've worked with everything from antique christening gowns to a full Star Wars collection.
We would love to book but simply can't afford to, do you offer discounts?
No, and that's the same for everyone. What I do offer is Klarna and flexible payment plans across the session and any products afterwards. And if the Little Bundle is where you need to start, it is genuinely a wonderful session. You won't feel shortchanged.
