Deep Jewel Tones and Textures: A Feast for the Eyes

I’m drawn to rich, deep jewel tones—emerald greens, sapphire blues, and amethyst purples—that add depth and drama to my images. These colors, paired with luxurious textures like fur, hessian and knitted wraps, create a tactile and visually captivating experience. I gently position the baby, making sure their eyes are straight, their head is the closest thing to the camera (to emphasize their delicate features), and their hands are neatly arranged with fingers straight. I wait for those fleeting, magical expressions—a tiny smile, a yawn, or a peaceful sigh—that make each image uniquely special.

To add a touch of whimsy and personality to my images, I often incorporate props like flowers, vintage lace, or antique objects I’ve collected during my travels.
