I cannot express how much I absolutely love being a newborn photographer. Especially when a baby as lovely as little James comes to my Sandbach studio.

Having been recommended by a friend, James’s mum enquired about a photo shoot for her yet-to-be-born baby on a Sunday evening. I sent over all the details and never heard anything else. I followed up the enquiry a few days later and Helen sent me a message to say that little James couldn’t wait any longer and had been born within 24 hours of her enquiry, a few weeks early!

As I limit how many newborns I take per month, I had enough space for James to squeeze in and what a gorgeous little boy he is. His gallery is definitely one of my favourites! Mum and Dad gave me free reign on colours, suggesting that neutral browns and greys are their favourites. We went for a mixture of browns and greys that just suits baby James beautifully.

He was a little star for the whole session, we wrapped him up tight which he loved, and he was straight off to sleep! We just paused for a couple of feed between set changes and came out with a fabulous collection of photographs that James and his whole family will always treasure.
